Usage instructions:
Apply WOOD BALSAM with a soft cloth to dry and cleaned wood. Repeat the process after 24 hours if necessary. Only a very thin layer of balsam should remain on the wood surface, which should be gently wiped off. Apply the next layer when the previous one is completely dry – it dries for at least 24 hours.
We recommend drying for at least 3 days before contact with food. If we want the surface to be suitable, e.g., for containers with liquid, we must apply WOOD BALSAM at least 3-4 times. Each previous application should dry for at least 24 hours between applications.
For tinting WOOD BALSAM, we can also mix in harmless earth or inorganic pigments in powder form. Suitable for this are, for example, VIVAT pigments.
